Senior Product Manager, Platform
Apply for roleSTRAND is real-time architecture mapping for engineering teams running service-heavy systems. The product maps every dependency, tracks every change, and surfaces blast radius before anything ships. The infrastructure behind that needs to stay fast and accurate at a scale most teams do not operate at. This role owns a significant piece of that.
You will work directly with engineering, design, and customers to define what STRAND's platform becomes. The roadmap is not written yet. You will write it. This is a high-ownership role at a company where product decisions move fast and every feature ships to real engineering teams at real companies.
What you will work on
- Own the product roadmap for STRAND's platform layer, including APIs, integrations, configuration systems, and data access.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate customer problems into clear, well-scoped product requirements.
- Talk directly to customers to understand how they operate their systems and where STRAND creates or fails to create real value.
- Define and track the metrics that tell you whether platform features are delivering the outcomes they were built for.
- Partner with the developer relations and sales teams to understand how platform capabilities affect adoption and retention.
- Make prioritization decisions clearly and defend them with data and reasoning, not just instinct.
What we are looking for
- 5 or more years in product management with meaningful time spent on developer-facing or infrastructure products.
- You understand how engineering teams operate and can have credible technical conversations about APIs, data pipelines, and observability.
- Track record of shipping platform features that increased adoption, integration depth, or customer retention.
- You write crisp product specs. Not 40-page documents. Clear problem statements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Strong opinions about what makes a platform useful versus what just adds surface area.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and can scope problems well enough to make progress without perfect information.
How we work
- Fully remote. Work from wherever you do your best work.
- Async by default. Meetings exist when they need to, not as a reflex.
- Small team. Your decisions ship. There is no committee.
- We move fast and cut anything that does not serve the outcome.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and equity with straightforward terms.
- Five weeks paid vacation plus local public holidays.
- Health coverage based on your location.
- Home office or co-working stipend.
- Four months paid parental leave.
- Regular team off-sites.
